Delhi Capitals have made a stunning debut in season 14 with a consolidated unbeatable balling department outshining in the IPL T20 2021 at Wankhade Stadium,Mumbai by winning the game with a 7 wicket win over Chennai Super Kings. Surprisingly, yet not so very surprisingly the overpowering innings played by Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan scored half-centuries to help Delhi Capitals defeat Chennai Super Kings which was truly an all time high adrenalin booster right at the beginning of the tournament.

Chennai Super King’s poor bowling and abysmal bowling added to their woes. Other than Suresh Raina scoring a 50, there was no take way from the match for CSK. The duo’s dominant display set up the win for Delhi Capital, with Rishab Pant and Shimron Hetmyer sealing the win in the 19th over.
